Slideshare

Written on April 9, 2008 by Devon Adams

I’ve felt like I’ve been almost frozen from doing work on the first two weeks of the English 101 course because I’ve felt overwhelmed by the task of writing on the theory behind HOW to compose. It’s not that I don’t know or couldn’t teach it, but it’s an awesome task that people write entire books about. This weekend I decided I am going to make a Slideshare file on the highlights. I’ve gathered some different information on rhetoric, audience, the rhetorical triangle, persuasion, etc… and now I am going to being a presentation file on Google docs where I am going to collaborate with a few colleagues to work out a presentation. When it’s relatively complete, I am going to record the audio portion and then combine the two files and upload them to Slideshare. This’ll help build a foundation of the theoretical instruction of the key elements when composing.
